Abortion lovers have responded to a US town declaring itself a sanctuary city for preborn babies by erecting a billboard proclaiming that 'Abortion is freedom.'

In early June, the small Texas town of Waskom declared itself a sanctuary city for the unborn. Members of the Waskom City Council voted unanimously on the new statute, risking a lawsuit that could end up in the US Supreme Court. This followed the example of a city in New Mexico, which became a sanctuary city last March.

Abortion advocates responded to the city's safe-haven status by erecting two billboards which claim that 'Abortion is freedom'  The billboards were funded by NARAL Pro Choice Texas and the Lilith* Fund for Reproductive Rights.

Mark Lee Dickson, of Right to Life East Texas, responded to the billboards with a statement on Facebook:

“Abortion is Freedom.” That is the message of two recently erected billboards in Waskom, Texas. The two organizations which footed the bill for these billboards were NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and the Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity. These billboards were part of their response to the City of Waskom, Texas passing an ordinance on June 11th which outlawed abortion within the city limits and treats groups like NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and the Lilith Fund as criminal organizations.

First off, I would like to thank NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and the Lilith Fund for reminding all of us of just how out of touch both of their criminal organizations are with the women they claim to represent. From day one they have treated what happened in Waskom as what happens when “old white men” lead. It can also be said, from day one, these groups have ignored the fact that Waskom's City Hall was full of women standing in favor of their city council's decision on the day of the vote. I am curious to see what these groups and the liberal media will say when a city led by a female Mayor becomes the second city in Texas to outlaw abortion and become the next sanctuary city for the unborn. That is happening by the way. Everyone will be hearing about it very soon...

Secondly, I would like to thank NARAL Pro-Choice for teaming up with the Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity. It is not every day that an organization can say they teamed up with a group named after a demonic figure of Jewish folklore. According to Encyclopedia Britannica Lilith* is a demon who threatened evil against children and women in childbirth. I am not sure what the Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity was thinking when they picked out their name. Then again, if their primary goal is funding abortions, they probably do not have a lot of experience in getting to pick out meaningful names. Even if they consulted Wikipedia they would have seen, by the second sentence, “Lilith is often envisioned as a dangerous demon of the night, who is sexually wanton, and who steals babies in the darkness.”

What were they thinking?

... If NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and the Lilith Fund want to spend more money on billboards in those cities we welcome them to do so. After all, the more money they spend on billboards the less money they can spend on funding the murder of innocent unborn children. "

The statement suggests that there could very soon be more Texan cities claiming safe-haven status for their tiny preborn citizens, a move which is sure to enrage the demonic Lilith spirit even more.

*Catholic exorcist, Fr Chad Ripperger, teaches that the Lilith demon is one of the seven most active in the world at the moment. He characterises the Lilith spirit as being seductive, dominating and pan-sexual.
