Flawed math - the moral calculus of abortion
Not all arguments against abortion are based on Christian teaching; as an atheist, Cultureshift gives a non-religious objection to abortion.
Pro-Life Apologetics Refresher
FLI will be teaming up with Life Choice for a couple of events in Melbourne in the coming months. In preparation for this, I’ve had to refresh my memory with some basic apologetics and have realised again the importance of systematic education and training in order to dialogue meaningfully about the harm caused by abortion.
Abortion IS Infanticide
If I wanted to kill someone I would find it helpful if I could convince myself that I was not really killing a human being. There would be a further advantage if I could convince other people, and especially the law, that this were so. It is no wonder then that advocates of abortion usually refuse to face the reality that abortion is the killing of a baby. There are exceptions, notably Professor Peter Singer, who agrees that a human baby is being killed, but generally, pro-abortionists shy away from this truth.
Right to Choose
Not only does a pregnant mother have a right to choose, as a moral being she has a duty to choose: to choose life over death for her baby.....another human being.
