Louise Milligan, we know, is a slayer of Catholic Cardinals.  Or seeks to be.  She is also a conspiracy theorist.  An even-handed investigative journalist, she ain't.  The rabbit holes she chooses to go down are highly selective.

We are facing a six-headed monster of tyranny.  Freedom is on the line, as Western, so-called democratic governments have trashed our basic human rights.  How much do we know, or care?

The charge of being a conspiracy theorist is now poison.  A conversation killer. Unfortunately, many dissenters from the State's line on many issues, not just Covid, are cowed by the charge.  It is a trick.

Conspiracy theorists are everywhere.  Sometimes, though, they are called acute observers, social scientists, historians, critical thinkers.  Governments and others may not have planned the Covid epidemic, but many with agendas are cashing in.  Call them convergent opportunists.

Conspiracy theory has been invoked by Victorian Police commanders to tarnish the reputations of citizens who object to totalitarianism.  What is conspiracy theory?  It is worth unpacking in these weird times.  It turns out that many conspiracy theories are respectable.  Indeed, they explain much of the world.
