Whacko Hazzard, No Moral Hazard

We expects thugs like Daniel Andrews to behave like thugs.  What we do not expect is that members of a party and a government with "liberal" in their names will take to abusing citizens, locking people up for dissent and imposing house arrest on its people.

It's Just Not Cricket

The Sydney cricket test has begun.  Virtually without a crowd.  Those there are all wearing masks, because they are compulsory in Sydney.  Covid summer madness has hit the Premier State, where a mere two Covid deaths have occurred since 1 September 2020.

Begging the question on the abortion bill

In the last week, a major debate has restarted in New South Wales about abortion. Most of the commentary however, begs the question and dances around the central issue. The real issue, is not doctors conscience rights, certifying consultants, or whether carrying out an abortion at 39 weeks is too late. It is not a political debate about whether the Berejiklian Government is riding roughshod over the Liberal Party's voter base. The real debate is over whether killing unborn humans as acceptable.
