Kathy Clubb

Founder and Editor of The Freedoms Project

Kathy has been active in pro-life work for 6 years and was involved in a constitutional challenge to Victoria’s exclusion-zone laws. She is the Melbourne co-ordinator for Family Life International and is a member of the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants. Kathy began writing about pro-life and Catholic issues at Light up the Darkness.net but broadened her range of topics as she came to learn more about the many threats to freedom which are common to all Christians.

Kathy home-educates her youngest 6 children and considers her family to be her most important pro-life work.

Some pertinent questions for those Catholics who disagree with the main thesis of Taylor Marshall's book, Infiltration, and who may be sceptical about the level of crisis existing in the Church today.

The story of Abby Johnson's shock turnaround from abortion advocate to vocal pro-lifer is changing the minds and hearts of people from all persuasions in the US. The film has just been shown in private pre-screenings here in Australia; I caught up with producer, Daryl Lefever, to ask him some questions about Unplanned.

Abortion doulas coming to Australia

Traditionally, a doula is a female birth attendant, who provides non-medical support to a woman during and after labour. Now, Queensland abortion business, Children by Choice, is launching an abortion doula training program, modelled on similar services offered in the US.

A chance find on Twitter reveals how university students are being indoctrinated with pro-abortion propaganda by biased lecturers.

This website has featured many articles on the prevalence of highly sexualised school curricula and the push from progressives to indoctrinate every child with its soul-destroying ideology. With the Federal Election drawing ever nearer, advocates for the family are trying to expose this agenda, but are meeting with resistence from all quarters.

The abortion industry is well-known for its reliance on understatements and misrepresentation of fact in order to make its poisonous service more palatable to the public. One such euphemism is the term 'abortion stigma'. This handy new euphemism simultaneoulsy normalises abortion and derides those who believe in the sanctity of human life.

Here's a round-up of resources to help you make your vote count at the May 18th Federal Election.

For Catholics, the historic cathedral's most valuable item is not a golden artefact or a prized antique; even Jesus' venerable Crown of Thorns pales into insignificance when compared to this true treasure.

Folau's Foolish Wisdom

Israel Folau has lost his job (or come very close to it) for quoting Scripture on social media. That statement should make us think long and hard about the state of religious freedom in Australia. The football star has exposed a huge divide that exists among the Australian public by preaching basic Christian doctrine, but his comments are a challenge to all of us to defend the Truth, no matter what the cost.

Australians will be going to the polls in May, with only two possible outcomes: a Liberal government, headed by Scott Morrison, which will be ostensibly 'conservative' or 'right-wing', or a Labor government, a 'progressive' or 'left-wing' one, led by Bill Shorten. As with last year's Viktorian state election, the watchword among Christians, especially pro-lifer Christians, is "keep Labor out." However, in that election, despite intese lobbying, Labor stayed in power and significantly, enjoyed a swing in its favour across most of the state.
